Shelby, Shleby, Shelbys all over!

  1. Tributes
  2. Closing

Recently, I had the opportunity to attend an event at the Lyon Air Museum in California. Not only was the museum itself a treat, with its impressive collection of vintage airplanes and military vehicles, but the event also featured a special display of classic Shelby Mustangs and other tribute cars.

As a car enthusiast, I was in heaven as I walked through the hangar and saw so many beautiful and well-preserved Mustangs on display. There were early 1960s models with their sleek and iconic lines, as well as more modern versions with powerful engines and aggressive styling.

Tributes

One of the highlights of the event was the tribute cars, which included several replicas of famous Mustangs from movies and television shows. There was a replica of the Bullitt Mustang, with its dark green paint and menacing stance, as well as a replica of the Eleanor Mustang from the movie “Gone in 60 Seconds.” These tribute cars were a true testament to the enduring popularity and appeal of the Mustang.

Overall, the event at the Lyon Air Museum was a true feast for the eyes, with so many cool airplanes and awesome old Shelby Mustangs on display. It was a wonderful opportunity to see these classic cars in all their glory, and I left feeling inspired and grateful to have had the chance to see them in person. If you’re a car enthusiast, I highly recommend adding the Lyon Air Museum to your list of must-see destinations. You won’t be disappointed!
